West Carleton Outdoor Hockey League Play hockey in true Canadian Style! The West Carleton Outdoor Hockey League consists of teams from Dunrobin, Carp, Fitzroy Harbour and Constance Bay. It is a much less competitive league than indoor hockey and of course, only runs when the ice is frozen. Typically, the season starts early January, and ends at March Break. Kids from 5 - 15 are welcome to join, regardless of previous hockey experience. Teams consist of the following age groups: 5-6-7; 8-9; 10-11-12; 13-14-15 Teams are mixed boys and girls. Full hockey equipment is a requirement! Practices are held at the Dunrobin Community Centre Tuesday and Wednesday nights between 6 and 9 pm, and games are typically on Saturdays between 9 and 1 pm. Games rotate between "home" and "away", which can be any of the rinks noted above. See maps of the rink locations below. Registration information can be found here and closes December 15, although if there is room left on a team, you can join later than this. Please mail your cheque for $60 (made out to DCA) to 1151 Thomas Dolan Parkway, Dunrobin, K0A 1T0. You must complete and sign the attached waiver and mail with your cheque.
