HOMEGROWN TALENT RETURNS FOR BENEFIT SHOW Sat May 9th
Dunrobin-raised, Toronto-based singer songwriter TIIU (full name Tiiu Millistver) is returning home for an evening concert at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Dunrobin , Ontario – her first concert in her hometown. See attached flyer.
Tiiu’s silky vocals and endearing performances have led her to become nationally recognized as one of the country’s strongest emerging singer songwriters. It was upon rekindling a relationship with her childhood piano teacher Donna Hawkes that Tiiu will finally come home to play a concert.
Her latest release, “Shooting Stars, Blazing Hearts” was produced by Don Kerr (Ron Sexsmith), and released with support of the CBC Radio at The Blacksheep Inn in October 2008. The performance was taped and aired nationally on Radio 2’s Canada Live program.
